Through television, film, documentary, digital, and new media, we champion passionate filmmakers who are redefining what it means to tell a genuine story. Our mission is to craft compelling, socially conscious narratives that resonate deeply with global audiences. We are currently accepting submissions for our Quarterly Film Grant Program — a unique opportunity for visionary filmmakers to receive a $5,000 production grant and be featured on the Shades of Cinema platform.

Eligibility & Submission Guidelines

We welcome completed works and works in progress, provided all required materials are submitted. We accept all genres!

Eligible formats include:

• International Narrative Short Films – 40 minutes or less

• Short Documentaries – 25 minutes or less

• Web Series – Submit 2 episodes; each no longer than 20 minutes

• At least a 15 page script or teaser for work in progress projects.

Important Requirements:

• You must have secured all rights to the submitted material.

• It is the filmmaker’s responsibility to provide a working link and password (if applicable).

• Incomplete submissions will not be considered.

To Submit, Include the Following in Your Entry:

• A working link to your film (with password if needed)

• Title of the film

• Genre

• Runtime

• Movie poster or key artwork

• A brief synopsis

• Director’s name

• Submission fee: $5 USD
